Get Involved
Here in Sunbeam House Services we welcome people to get involved in volunteering with us. Volunteers bring valuable skills and talents that they can share with the people we support in a fun and relaxed way and they may even bring the gift of friendship. As a service who support the rights and lives of people, we welcome the fresh perspectives and ideas that volunteers bring which can improve the lives of the people we support.
Volunteering with Sunbeam also promotes community involvement and social inclusion and research also shows that volunteers are happier and healthier people. They may even live longer !
Our day services operate from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday but we also have residential houses that are open evenings and weekends. We value any time you can give us, no matter how small.
All our volunteers need to be reference checked and Garda Vetted and there is support and training available in terms of safeguarding and engaging in activities that are appropriate. This is to protect both the volunteers and the people we support.
Please contact Eoin on 086 838 5958 or email eoin.buckley@sunbeam.ie for an application form, volunteer handbook or to discuss further.
