Sunbeam Variety show 2026
The annual Sunbeam Variety show took place at the Arklow Bay Hotel on Thursday the 16th of July with over 100 people taking to the stage for what was a night of colour, talent, excitement and just great fun. Over 50 Sunbeam clients took part in tributes to Queen, Boyzone, Oasis, Abba and Grease among others with a number of Sunbeam staff also taking to the stage for the first time. Performances from Arklow’s Na Cailini trad group and the ‘Lets Sing’ group also went down a storm to over 350 people who were present on the night. There was also great support from Arklow Action Resource centre and East Wicklow youth service. Thanks also to Paul Sutton (The Birdy song ) Bernie Breen (Bee Smart Solutions) who did a great job on stage and added immensely to our show.
Thank you to Wicklow CC community awards for part funding our sound/lighting and printing costs. Jea productions John Angel for engineering the show.
Special thanks to all the staff team who helped out on the night on stage and behind the scenes and on the days leading up to the show.

The night ended with everyone on their feet doing the ‘Hokey Cokey’, much to their surprise, but it was all down to the contagious atmosphere created by the Sunbeam house music program.
