Strictly Come Dancing in the Arklow Bay Hotel on Saturday 16th November, hosted by the Avonmore Music Society. Sallyanne McCarthy (Payroll Administrator in Sunbeam House Services) and her Dance Partner Tomas Byrne won first prize on the night, for dancing the Salsa !! Sallyanne raised funds for the new troop Arklow Majorettes Militare. The Group were established in Sept 2013, and currently have 102 members, both boys and girls, ranging from ages 4-18 years. Pat Corr, (Driver for Sunbeam House Services) scooped second prize for dancing the Waltz and the Jive, with his Dance Partner, Maria Neary.
