New Art Gallery in Arklow

I am delighted to announce that we will be opening the new Bri Nua building in Arklow on 2 November 2012. This new building, funded specifically by the HSE, also houses The Arklow Gallery, a space designed to exhibit our clients’ art work on the main street of Arklow. This space will be managed by the Arklow Visual Arts Group, in partnership with Sunbeam House Services, who will manage the sales, the exhibitions and the festivals that will take place in the gallery. The new building is 4 times the size of the existing Bri Nua and will allow for extension to the services we provide and the space that clients have to undertake their training.
The opening is at 7.00pm in the new building and we will be hosting the finished exhibition pieces from artist Pablo Garcia Albizuri and our clients, who will be working for the previous two weeks on these pieces. All staff and clients are invited to attend should they wish to. There will be some light refreshments and we will have a guest of honour and some presentations from local dignitaries.
The Arklow Gallery will be a significant asset to the community and to our clients in the raising of awareness of the abilities of our artists within Sunbeam House Services and the local community.
John Hannigan,
Managing Director.
