To whom it may concern,

Dignity Packs Ireland, started in 2016, is the brainchild of a young Bray girl, Molly Comish. The idea first came to Molly on Christmas Eve, 2015, when she was in Dublin and noticed how many homeless people there were on the streets. Molly decided to put a plan into action to help. She thought about what Dignity meant to her and the idea of the “Dignity Packs” was born (rugsacks filled with essential hygiene items).

Molly is now moving to Canada for some time and hoped that somebody locally could continue her good work. Dargle Community Base Service Users, staff and Molly’s Mum, Janice, have come together to continue this worthwhile project. This entails creating Dignity Packs for those who need them most. These packs will then be distributed by volunteers to the homeless community in Bray and further afield.

To start this process Moly would like to officially handover the project to DCB. A radio interview with the service users, staff and Molly will take place sometime this week on East Coast radio followed by newspaper articles in our local papers.

Following this we hope to keep you all informed of the progress of this amazing project. If you have any queries please contact Monique or Bernie at: dignitypacks@gmail.com or on our Facebook Page: Dignity Packs Ireland.

Kind Regards,

Monique Jolly and Bernie Mooney
